Competitive Analysis is about looking at the competition.  There’s no need to reinvent the wheel when you can quickly take advantage of all your competitors’ hard work and money spent. As part of the keyword research process, you can easily see exactly who the top competitors are for the keyword traffic you are interested in. By looking at their sites and landing pages for particular keywords, you can see exactly what you need to do to gain a competitive advantage. And this will have positive repercussions further down the line of your own sales funnel.
